Romania and the PPC fraud

Against all odds, this post it`s not about some romanian “hacker” that frauded ebay or something like that. No. It`s about the Pay-Per-Click fraud rate.

So, what`s that all about? Click Forensics published a PPC (pay-per-click) fraud report for the 2007 3rd quarter. Basicaly the fraud rate is growing rapidly. But there`s a catch here: Romania is in the green zone, the one with low level threat. You can see for yourself on their Click Fraud Index.

Well, that`s something new. I`m relieved!
